Information for Charter School Students
(Online Lessons are Available for Homeschoolers)

The Academy of Music is an authorized vendor of Mission Vista Academy, Cabrillo Point Academy, Pacific Coast Academy, Julian Charter School, Mountain PeaK River Springs Charter, Excel Sage Oak, Compass,Elite, Epic, and Sky Mountain Charter Schools. (If you belong to a different school we can add them, call us.) This means that, when authorized, the charter school pays for music lessons or performing arts classes for your child. If you belong to another charter school and would like to take music lessons or performing arts classes with us through that school, have them contact us at (951) 698-9891.

In order to begin lessons at the Academy:

  1. Check our website to find the instrument or class that you would like to enroll in. All classes offered at the academy are available to homeschool students.
  2. Contact us at the Academy at 951-698-9891 to schedule your lessons so we have room for you when the school authorizes the lessons.
  3. Talk to the school facilitator or course counselor at your charter school about authorizing the class.
  4. Your school will then provide the music academy with a PO authorizing the lessons or class.
  5. Once we receive authorization, the student can start his/her lessons or classes.

All instructors have passed the Department of Justice Livescan background check.
