This guitar class is designed for students to get an introduction to and a fundamental understanding of guitar.

What to expect:

• Learn letter names and numbers of strings
• How to hold the guitar
• How to hold the pick
• How to tune
• Basic 3-finger and 4-finger technique
• Basic chords
• Understanding Tab notation
• Understanding Standard notation
• Strumming in 4/4 and 3/4 time
• Beginning songs

The course is great to way to determine the interest level of the student and prepare for private instruction. Curriculum is provided by the academy.
