What do I need? Brass students will need an instrument (see instrument rentals), cleaning kit, lesson book, and metronome in order to practice at home.

What to expect? Different stages of learning as well as personal preference will dictate different programs of study, which is why private instruction is best. Most students will not reach the advanced level of playing, which is fine because not everyone wants to be a professional brass player. What is important is that each student can go as far as his or her dedication and desire will allow.
