Drum Basics Summer

This summer class is designed for Murrieta California, Temecula, Menifee, Wildomar and surrounding areas' 8 to 14 year olds to get a fundamental understanding of the snare and rudiments of full kit playing. (Younger or older students - See private instruction) Reading rhythmic notation, basic sticking patterns, beginning drum kit patterns, correct posture, correct stick grips, and beginning songs are introduced. The student will need a drum practice pad or drum kit at home to practice. The course is a great way to determine the interest level of the child and prepare for private instruction. Curriculum provided by the academy.
