Information for Charter School Students
The Academy of Music is an authorized vendor of Julian, Mountain Peak, Dehesa, River Springs, and Sky Mountain Charter Schools. This means that when authorized you receive free music lessons, or free drama or acting classes for your child. If you belong to another charter school and would like to take music lessons or performing arts classes with us through that school, have them contact us at (951) 698-9891.
In order take lessons at the academy:
- Talk to the school facilitator or course counselor at the charter school about obtaining music or performing arts instruction. Click on individual classes for current or upcoming schedules.
- Your school will then provide the music academy with authorization for lessons.
- Once we receive authorization, the student can schedule his/her lessons or classes.
In the event that the charter school does not authorize payment for all 4 lessons in a month the student will be charged directly for the shortfall. The student will be notified if full authorization is not received.
Private Instruction: The Murrieta Academy of Music currently offers free or low cost private music instruction through your charter school on acoustic and electric guitar, piano, voice, drums, bass guitar, saxophone, keyboard, clarinet, flute, piccolo, organ, violin, viola, ukulele, mandolin, trumpet, & trombone. We also offer low cost or free drama classes, musical theater, and childrens music classes.
Yearly Registration Fee: (Not normally authorized by charter school)
